Earlysville is located in Northern Albemarle County north of Free Union.
The Blue Ridge Mountain arise and are literally in your face (along with the planes arriving and departing from the conveniently-located Charlottesville Airport). So if the sound of planes bothers you then consider another area.
While Earlysville may appear on a map to be farther to the University of Virginia and Downtown Charlottesville than say Crozet, it does have easy access to the 8-lane Rt 29. Therefore there are very few stores left thriving in the hamlet. Whereas Rt 29 has everything within minutes: Harris Teeter, Trader Joe, Whole Foods, target, etc.
Earlysville homebuyers desiring to live in an attractive community will consider Ardwood, Bedford Hills, Chestnut Grove, Claymont, Earlysville Forest, Frays Grant, Graemont, Hickory Ridge, Loftlands Glen, Indian Springs, Mallard Lake, Sunrise Farm, Tanager Woods, and Walnut Hills.
Earlysville enjoys a rich pre-revolutionary and on occasion offers fine 18th century historic homes.
There are also numerous farms that add to the all-around beauty of this area of Central Virginia.

Here’s what I like about living in Earlysville…the spectacular vistas, the convenience to the Charlottesville Airport, the excellent public schools, the perfect terrain for horses, the excellent fox hunting, and the proximity to great shopping.
I would be thrilled to be your Charlottesville realtor!
