Farmington VA real estate is my all-around pick for those moving to Charlottesville.
While ungated, the property surrounding the Farmington Country Club is a magnificent park-like setting, full of early American history, and breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountain views. This is Piedmont, Virginia at its finest.
There are 123 homes in Farmington, the majority of which were built between 1950-1980, and sit on 1.5-6 acres.

So if you want to move to Charlottesville and live in Farmington you must move swiftly.
610 Ivy Lane is missing since it was a direct sale and not listed in the Charlottesville MLS (It seems goofy to me not to show it!).
We also did not include the sale of Gallison Hall (375 Farmington Dr) since it sits on 43 acres and most Farmington homes for sale in Charlottesville VA.
Gallison Hall circa 1931 was sold in 2022 for $7,900,000 which was the highest price.
Living in Farmington is a luxury and offers everything a small, cosmopolitan, University, city can offer.
