The 650-acre Greenbrier neighborhood of Charlotteville is a wonderful quiet area of the City to raise a family.

As of 2022, there are 917 homes in the Greenbrier neighborhood which includes Greenbrier Heights.

Most of the homes were built from 1960 to the 1970s, and love to use Virginia red brick!

Greenbrier Heights is just to the north and some consider it their own neighborhood.

There are 341 homes in Greenbrier Heights and the architecture is similar to Greenbrier’s, as are the public schools.

You can’t even tell when you are in the neighborhood! But homeowners love to call it Greenbrier Heights.

Home prices are STILL reasonable and in ‘my’ estimation, a solid investment.

The median price of a sold Greenbrier neighborhood home in the past two years is $400,000. And the median days on the market are only 10. So these lovely homes do sell quickly.

The Greenbrier neighborhood is located east of Rt 29 and north of the Rt 250 Bypass. The John W Warner Parkway marks its most eastern border.

Charlottesville High School sits in the neighborhood.

There are two parks, McIntire Park to the south where the newly built Brooks Family YMCA is located, and Greenbrier Park to the north.

The local roads have numerous speed bumps and stop signs to keep all our kiddies safe.

Whole Foods, Trader Joe, and Kroger are all within a minute’s drive on Rt 29.

I would be thrilled to be your Charlottesville realtor!
