The first home in Old Trail was sold in Nov. of 2005, and since then, 664 single-family homes have sold.
Old Trail HOA Fees in 2023 are $195 quarterly. Association setup/transfer fees are $50.
Amenities: Six miles of walking trails, an ACAC Fitness Center, a soccer field, a fabulous outdoor pool, a challenging public golf course, a community fire pit, and a professional bocce court; all of which sit on 800 acres of spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain views.

Western Albemarle Schools that serve Old Trail neighborhood are are Brownsville Elementary, Henley Middle, and Western Albemarle High, all of which are considered some of the best public schools in Virginia.

There are numerous vineyards nearby (including a polo on Sundays at King Family Vineyard).

Directions: 250 West past Ivy to a right on Old Trail Drive. Or I-64 to Crozet exit. Go east on Rt 250 and left into Old Trail Drive.
My thoughts: Not only is Old Trail one of the most popular Charlottesville neighborhoods, it’s also one of my favorites. As a Crozet realtor since 2003, I have watched this community grow from one single-family luxury home to a booming vibrant community. Add it to your list especially if you have children.
