Directions: From I-64 Street Exit take Old Lynchburg Rd south past Mosby Mountain to Whittington on right.

My thoughts – 10 years ago, Old Lynchburg Rd was not a luxurious place to live. But since the Mosby Mountain neighborhood was developed property values have changed for the better. I like Whittington’s layout but I wish there were more amenities for the price the homes. Kids need to have fun and there needs to be a pool or tennis court. I give Whittington a 7 out of 10. Why only a 7? There are some neighborhoods nearby that get a lot of police calls. I personally think the homes are over-priced plus Stanley Martin gets in and then they leave. I also don’t like living south of the city near the I-64 interstate. And finally their tiny pond just doesn’t cut it with me. Glenmore and Old Trail are nicer and way more fun.

Note: Albemarle County Police headquarters is located nearby.
