Directions – West on Main St, then turn left on Roosevelt Blvd. (Hampton Inn is on the left corner). Take the first left onto Grove St. and continue straight on Estes St. which leads you to Walker Square.

 

Location – Just steps off West Main Street, Walker Square is a 5-minute walk to UVA Hospital. 7 mins to classes at UVA. 10 min walk to The Corner or Historic Downtown Mall. This is a walkable neighborhood with public transportation by the Charlottesville Free Trolley.

My thoughts – There are very few affordable Charlottesville condos that are so centrally located. And this is why Walker Square condominiums sell so quickly. And if you love trains then Walker Square apartments are for you. Located right off the tracks, it can get noisy.

However, in time you’ll never notice the incessant noise outside.

The pool is positioned so tightly that 50% of the area sits in the shade. So get here early if you want to sunbathe.
