The circa 1993 505 Foxchase Lane was the original estate home before the development began in earnest in 2007.

It originally sold for just over $1m in 2005 on almost 2 acres. Then again sold in 2022 for $1,285,000.

Foxchase Landing consists of only 14 homesites ranging from .5 to 1.3 acres and homes vary in size from 2,000-4,000 finished sq ft.

Foxchase and Foxchase Landing are located between Ivy and Crozet in the Western Albemarle School District.

There are 56 homes in Foxchase and 14 (4 to be built as of 2023) in Foxchase Landing.

The median prices are $1,200,000 in Foxchase & $1,172,000 in Foxchase Landing.

HOA fees in both Foxchase & Foxchase Landing as of 2023 are $418 a quarter or $1,672 annually.

Albemarle County property taxes average $8,000 a year.

Architectural styles include classic, colonial, Georgian, Queen Anne, and Craftsman.

4 homes in the Foxchase neighborhood Crozet have sold since Jan 2023.

 

The highest price paid was $1,285,000. The low was $999,878. And the median price paid for a home in Foxchase Crozet was $1,200,000.

From 2000 to 2010 48 homes were sold. From 2010-2020, 7 more homes in Foxchase Crozet were built. And finally, 1 last one was built by Craig Builders at 335 Ellington Bend for $999,878 in 2021.

But then Foxchase Landing opened up with 14 new homesites.

Foxchase builders include Arcadia Builders, Gibson Homes, Craig Builders, Gaffney Homes, High Harbor, Jacques Homes, Medallion Enterprises, and Skyline Home Builders.

Southern Classic Homes is the sole builder in Foxchase Landing.

Foxchase & Foxchase Landing HOA Fees are $450 Quarterly in 2023.

Again, Foxchase and Foxchase Landing are located in the same community. Foxchase Landing is the newer community. 

Sadly their HOA tells you very little.

Foxchase Landing owners are unable to join the Foxchase HOA board however, they are able to join the Foxchase Architectural Review Board.

Amenities include a community pool, one tennis court, a clubhouse, an exercise room, walking trails, and fishing ponds.

A more professional gym is the ACAC in Old Trail located 5 miles west.

Only 5 Foxchase Landing neighborhood Crozet homes have sold since Jan of 2021. 

The highest price paid so far for a home in Foxchase Landing Crozet was $1,395,000. The lowest price paid was $984,000, and the median price was $1,172,000.

Foxchase Landing began in 2016 with 881 Carlyle Place sold in 2021 for $1,350,000.

By Nov of 2022, there were 13 homes. No lots are left.
