Note – Hollymead offers condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes. The development began in 1973 so the homes are older.
8 single-family homes for sale in Hollymead have been sold since Jan 2022. The highest price paid was $495,000. The lowest paid was $365,000. And the median price paid was $421,000.
Only one Hollymead townhome was sold in 2022 for $340,000. It was 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and was located at 1133 Somer Chase Ct.
Hollymead HOA Fees are $194 a month (2022) and cover area maintenance, the master insurance policy, the play area, road maintenance, snow removal, trash pickup, and yard maintenance.
Location Located off Rt 29 North in Albemarle County and 9 miles from UVA and Downtown Charlottesville.
There are no condos in Forest Lakes Charlottesville VA.
But there are condos in Hollymead which again sits between Forest Lakes North and Forest Lakes South.
Forest Lakes Amenities (some do cost extra) include:
Six scenic lakes. The lakes and streams, and the fish in them, belong to all members of FLCA.
Swimming, wading, and ice skating are not permitted for safety reasons. Boating is permitted but at the boat owners’ risk.

Forest Lakes has 4 lighted hard surface tennis courts at the South Recreational Facility and 6 (4 lighted) clay surface courts at the North Recreational Facility.
There are 2 dedicated pickleball courts and two dual-purpose courts that are lined for both tennis and pickleball at the South location.
The Fitness Center, located at the South Recreational Facility, is available for resident use from 4:30 am-midnight and offers group and fitness classes.
2 athletic fields in each the North and South used for soccer and lacrosse.
A sand volleyball court is located at the South Recreational Facility.
4 basketball courts are located across from the Cove Point neighborhood.
There are miles of paved and unpaved trails throughout Forest Lakes South and Forest Lakes North.
Gardeners – you can have your own garden plots.
A book club.
Santa visits Forest Lakes Charlottesville VA with cookies and milk and
reads Twas the Night Before Christmas to the resident children. He usually sleds into the Pavilion on December 13th or 14th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
