Directions: Take the 5th Street extension which becomes Old Lynchburg Rd. Turn right into Sunset Ave Extension. At the Stop sign, go straight, then turn left into Redfields.

Redfields is convenient to UVA, UVA hospital with easy I-64 access.

The new 5th Street Station is just across I-64 where you have Wegman’s, Dick’s, restaurants, a movie theater, and a lot more.

Note – While there is easy access to I-64, there is a road that goes under I-64 to get to UVA and UVA Hospital without having to get on the interstate.

There are many nurses and young doctors living here.

My thoughts: I give Redfields an 8 out of 10.

Why not a 10?

Because you can hear I-64 and in the nearby vicinity there loom some less-than-desirable neighborhoods.

Now before you panic, know that the Albemarle County Police Dept is VERY nearby and is considered a wonderful place to raise your children.

So, do your own due diligence by contacting them.
