Directions: From I-64 Street Exit take Old Lynchburg Rd south past Mosby Mountain to Whittington on right.
Location: off of Old Lynchburg Road just south of the city of Charlottesville over I-64. 3 miles to the University of Virginia and 9 mins to UVA Hospital. 5 mins to 5th Street Station (Wegman’s), and 2.5 miles to I-64 on/off ramp.
My thoughts – Old Lynchburg Rd about 10 years ago was not a luxurious place to live. But ever since the Mosby Mountain neighborhood was developed things changed for the better.
I like Whittington’s layout but I wish there were more amenities for the price the homes are selling for. Kids need to have fun!
I give Whittington an 7 out of 10.
Why only a 7?
There are some neighborhoods nearby that get a lot of police action and the homes are over-priced.
Stanley Martin gets in and then they leave.
I also don’t like living south of the city near a major interstate, and finally there needs to be a pool or tennis courts.
(That tiny pond doesn’t cut it.)
Complaints department!
