My thoughts – Although most of the homes are 50 years old, the West Leigh neighborhood is one of my favorites. And West Leigh is considered prime Ivy VA real estate. I give the West Leigh neighborhood an 8 out of 10. The majority of homes are old and need upgrading and repairs (although many have been renovated). But, don’t let that steer you away from this Ivy neighborhood. If you see a home that looks great then purchase it. Home values will only go up and the Western Albemarle public schools are the best around.
